She’s had several of the people featured in “The Secret” on her show.

So has Larry King.

It’s pretty hard to not notice the attention “The Secret” has been getting in the last months.

What is all the hype?
It’s all about the “Law of Attraction”, an age-old Universal Principle that determines what is or isn’t in our life.

How does it work?

That’s the secret everyone is talking about.

What does this have to doing with trying to conceive?

Well, for someone who has been seeking fertility and it hasn’t happened yet, the news is good.

If you are a woman trying to get pregnant you may not even realize that you’re activating the Law of Attraction all the time.

If you are not activating this Universal Law in your favor, then infertility may be what you are facing.

That is the simple version.

Here are a few things to ask yourself:
If you have more worry, doubt and fear about getting pregnant; or find it hard to trust that you will be able to get pregnant and birth a healthy baby, then you have infertility active in your system.

If you feel greater amounts of despair when you start your monthly menstrual cycle, then you have infertility active in your system.
If you’ve failed IUI’s, IVF’s or have had miscarriages; or feel like you’ve exhausted your options in conceiving, then infertility is dominate and active in your system.

If your marriage or partnership has become strained as a result of you trying to conceive, then infertility is active in your system.

If you’ve been told that you have PCOS, poor egg quality, or that you are too old; and thus feel determined that you’re doomed, then infertility is dominate and active in your system.
I could go on, but I think you get it. Here is my point.

You MUST turn infertility off, in your system.

And then turn fertility on (physically, mentally, and emotionally).

Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could just turn fertility on like a light switch? Well that’s what I’m talking about here.

I believe it’s time to turn on your fertility. Are you with me so far?

Experience has shown that a woman diagnosed with “infertility,” focuses on infertility.

The problem with focusing on infertility is that the Universal Law of Attraction teaches that what we focus on becomes evident in our reality, every time.

Therefore, focusing on infertility activates infertility in the system.

This is science, not fluff.

This is what everyone is talking about, including Oprah.

It doesn’t matter which conceptions methods are being used…IVF (in vitro fertilization), IUI (artificial insemination), Clomid, or natural conception methods, — individually or in combination.

It doesn’t matter if a woman has had one or more miscarriages.

It doesn’t matter if she’s been trying to conceive for 6 months or 6 years.

What matters is that there are very specific things she can do to set the Law of Attraction in motion to work in her favor and get pregnant.

“I started to realize that being in alignment with the Law of Attraction isn’t a luxury, but a necessity. Your book put me back on the path of my intention and now I’m pregnant!”

Let’s use a garden analogy and break this down into several steps. If you were going to plant a 6×6 raised garden bed, most likely you would do the following:

1)You would assess the soil and add deficient nutrients into the soil. This is analogous to the health of your own inner (physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual) terrain.

2)You would pull out all the weeds. This would be the step analogous to noticing the focus on infertility.

3)With healthy soil and the weeds pulled, you would then plant your seeds. This part is your intention to getting pregnant and birthing a healthy baby.

4)Then you would water at regular intervals, ensuring that weeds stayed pulled. Meanwhile the sun, soil and water are causing the seeds to sprout and grow. This is the part of Law of Attraction that can sometimes be the hardest. Keeping the weeds pulled (focus on infertility) and the plot watered (focus on fertility).

This is how life grows, we as humans are no exception to this rule.

This Law of Attraction step is vital in optimizing the chances of getting pregnant.

Joy is a vibrational frequency that brings all things wanted into your experience.  Our natural state of being is joyful and loving, this is the nature of the law of attraction.  We are attracting to ourselves according to our emotional state or vibration.
If a person were to have a grandmother who taught them to be appreciative and joyous,  just naturally you would be living the life you want because this is the state of being that allows the universe to give you all that you want.

Most people think success is about the amount of money you have or the number of degrees you possess, but I have come to learn that without the joy factor these things are not of much value at all.  And when you are joyful, all of the things that you want in your life come to you.

This is the nature of the law of attraction.  Everything that comes to you is something that you have attracted vibrationally.  Most of us would say, ‘well I did not create this illness” and the truth of that statement is that no one would purposefully create an illness.  But by the nature of our thoughts and emotions, you have brought the emotional equivalent of that to your body.

I had a depression a while back and it took me a while to come to terms with the idea that I had attracted this depression with my thoughts and corresponding emotion.  And when I learned about the law of attraction,  everything in my life began to make sense.  I could see why certain things happened.  All things became clear.

When I learned that joy was my goal, then my life began to become a deliberate creation. I began to focus on what made me happy and to get in touch with the genuine me. The true me, who was joyous and happy at my core.

Success truly is about joy. And you can be joyful with or without money. There is evidence of this all over the planet.  Now I happen to like lots of money, that is one thing that I desire.  I have lived enough life now to know that not all people with money are happy, and the only difference between them and a poor person was that they could buy more things.

But when you rest in joy and truly learn that your emotions are your guidance to all well-being for yourself, you will see that when you are joyful all the money, good relationships and health  you want will come to you.

The Law of Attraction states that we become what we think about most. This means if we can control what we think about, we can choose the type of people, event, and experiences we attract into our lives.

You can be thinking many thoughts randomly each day. So how can you control your thoughts and only focus on those which can bring you more good experiences?

Bob Proctor discloses three powerful techniques that you can use.

(1) Observe the feelings that are attached to your thoughts

Feelings or emotions can be classified into positive or negative. The former makes you feel good and is an indication that your thought is in alignment of your sub conscious. Examples of positive emotion is happy, excited, love, peace.

On the other hand, negative emotions make you feel bad and indicate you are not in alignment with your sub conscious.

Feelings are your powerful guidance system. When you feel unappreciated with your job, these are signs from the universe that you need to change your direction immediately.

It is important to take note that changing direction does not mean you must change your job. Instead, the real meaning is you should not ignore your feelings and should do something (example talk to your boss) to fix the problem.

If you are currently unhappy in your job and have denied your feelings, I recommended that you acknowledged your unhappiness and asked yourself what you can do about the situation. You have the right to feel happy in a job.
(2) Gratitude

You know you should always feel good. How do you always have something good to think about?
One secret is to express gratitude for your current reality.

Gratitude is simply an attitude for being grateful for what you already have.

Most people tend to complain about their current reality. They may complain about

(a) Missing the promotion in their job.

(b) Staying in a small house

(c ) Driving the small car

What these people fail to understand is when they think and feel negatively about their current reality, they are sending a magnetic waves to the universe that they want more of such things.

Conversely, even if you only have a 15 inch television at home wheres other people have 32 inch television, you can still be thankful that you have a television at home. Somewhere out here in this universe, there are still people who do not enjoy the convenience of a television at home.

When you start listing down the things you are thankful for, you will be surprised that you really have so much things to be thankful for.

You should express your gratitude at least once a day. You can do that when you are commuting to work, first thing you wake up in the morning, or last thing before you sleep.

When you express gratitude, you put yourself in a frame of mind of happiness. The key here is you are focusing on what you have and the energy you send out is you have a lot.

The universe will respond to your energy and gives you even more.

(3) Divert Negative Energy

Bad things do happen in our life. Such things may be major illness, retrenchment, relationship break-off etc.

When such things strike in your life, how can you stop having negative feelings.

What you can do is you should re-divert your negative energy into something positive.

For example, if you lose money in a business and are feeling very negative about it, you can shift the energy just by deciding how much money you want to earn back. The thought immediately shifts your energy from “I lost money” to “How can I make more money”.

Now that you know how to control your thoughts, you are on your way to think and grow rich.

Most people feel that actions and words are all that counts. If they think negative thoughts, they assume there will be no repercussions. Yet, negative thoughts create pessimism and influence the outcome of daily situations, for the worst.

If we worry about something long enough, we can influence the end result for the worst. The exact opposite can be said for positive thoughts. Sometimes, the eternal optimist is oblivious of anything, but a good outcome. We must control what we think at all times. Below are a few methods, which can change your life for the best.

Start your morning with a smile, meditate, and give thanks for the blessing of each day. Appreciate the sounds of your family, a bird’s song, and the steady noise of daily life. Never be the person who complains about the weather. This is an imperfect world, but there is still so much to appreciate.

Create a positive affirmation of your own. This is similar to mantra, but much different. If you feel stressed out, you should think, “I look for and find solutions within stressful situations.” This may seem very simplistic and a bit silly to some.

Yet, how many people react to stressful situations with headaches, rapid heartbeat, muscle tension, chest pain, backaches, insomnia, and more ailments? When stress makes you ill, it is unlikely that you will find solutions during a crisis.

Mantra is also valuable, because you block the external signals of stress, with internal sounds of peace. However, if you are in a social environment, a self-created positive affirmation, in your native language, may help you to create a solution to a cycle of stress.

Almost every form of Yoga practices mantra and positive affirmation. If you practice these Yogic methods regularly, you can quell pessimism from within. This is only half of the solution. The other half is to permanently instill positive energy within your mind.

In your free time, meditate on positive feelings. Get to know which images, in your mind, create happiness. It could be God, a spiritual center, a loved one, a pet, your favorite vacation spot, or a beloved teacher.

Regardless of what makes you happy, learn to envision it at any time, and summon into action, all the happiness that comes with it. Kindness and happiness is how a Yoga practitioner can master the power of attraction.

During visualization, one common problem people question themselves is: ” If I am not rich and successful now, how can I lie to myself and imagine that I am rich and successful?”

I must tell you that visualization works regardless of your current reality. This is because your sub-conscious mind cannot tell the difference between reality and your imagination.

That is why in The Secret movie, Bob Proctor said if you see it (your dreams) in your eyes, you will hold it in your hands.

Whilst visualization is powerful and it can bring you wealth, the opposite is also true. For most people, they think about those events, which they observe most. So if they are always observing negative events, they tend to think how unlucky they are. And these thoughts create more negative events in their life.

So how do you get visualization to work for you rather than against you? This article provides you with some five secrets in visualization: -

(1) Practice

Repetition is the key to success in acquiring any new skills. You have to practice your visualization skills. The good new is the more real your visualization, the more effective you will achieve what you desire.

(2) See Yourself as Third Person

Imagine you are watching a movie in your mind. You are the lead actor or actress in this movie. You are viewing your life as a third person.

The key here is when you visualize behind your eyes; your mind treats it as a memory. Memory gets programmed into your subconscious mind and you will begin to form a belief that this memory is true.

(3) Put Emotions into Your Dream

Whatever your dream, always and always feel what you are visualizing. Of course, the emotions you attached to your visualization must be positive vibration.

Remember, thoughts alone cannot manifest your dream into reality. The formula to your prosperity = Thoughts plus Positive Emotions

(4) Increase Color and Brightness of a Wanted Scene

You can increase the color and brightness when you visualize the scene, which you have positive emotion about.

(5) Desensitize an Unwanted Scene

If a bad scene pops up, change the scene to black and white. This will help to decrease the negative emotions you feel towards the scene.

When writing points 4 and 5, I recalled a personal experience, which I like to illustrate how these 2 points serve in visualization.

I used to be afraid of cats. I really did not know the reason since cats did not bite me when I was young. My fear of cat is so strong that I could hear my heart pumping fast and loud even when I saw cats at a distance.

One day, I decided to use visualization to remove my fear of cats. What I did was I visualized a scene whereby cats are walking towards me. Immediately, I feel fearful.

Next, I decreased the color and brightness of the scene to black and white before I minimized the scene such that it only occupied the left hand corner of my mind.

Finally, I visualized a scene whereby cats are walking near to me. After feeling comfortable with cats, I imagine myself bending down and stroke a cat with my hands. At this point, I increased the color and brightness of the scene.

After one visualization exercise, I am now absolutely comfortable of walking near to cats. Isn’t this amazing?

Now that you are also aware of the secrets in visualization, you can apply them in areas of your life which you want to visualize into reality.

Your life will be what you created as and no one will stand in judgment of it now or ever.” Life is supposed to be phenomenal because you are a magnificent creator and you can have everything you want if you focus on it. And yes, the universe doesn’t care whether you are a homosexual because it responds to your dominant thoughts through the vibration you emit.

The Law of Attraction, works for everyone who believes they can change the way they think of their situation irrespective of whether it will change the way society perceives it to be. Homosexuality is still considered a taboo in most countries. Social attitudes towards homosexuality is varied and is still considered in some cultures as a perversion. There are still on-going debates whether homosexuality is genetic, or simply a choice for most people. As a result, a lot of people decided to keep their sexual orientation to themselves or hide their relationships to the public. Those who came out in the open, were condemned by society that led them to believe that their sexuality is “sinful”. While most parents either accept or deny that their child is homosexual, few have really accepted it. For the most part, those who were supported by their family and friends are really particularly fortunate. It is, however, a fact that there are a lot of unhappy homosexuals out there that are in need of understanding and respect.

Accept who you are and don’t allow anyone to make you think differently. By accepting who you are, you learn to love yourself and gain confidence and courage to face your challenges. Thus, you create positive energy within and you will appreciate yourself better. The universe doesn’t judge you for what you are. It simply reacts to whatever energy you project to the universe.

No matter how the society questions your sexual orientation, let it not affect you. Listen to your inner self. Honor what you feel and follow what you think is right for you and what will make you happy. Don’t let your emotions be affected by the negative belief of the people around you.

Do not allow anger, fear, or shame to keep you from living a happy life just because you are different from others. Appreciate who you are in order for you to have a positive life experience. Don’t think poorly about who you are because negative thoughts create negative emotions, thus attracting negative circumstances in your life. Learn to love yourself. That is who you are, regardless of what the society says about you. If you can’t learn to accept yourself, you can’t convince others to do the same.

Move forward and start changing your point of view about yourself and your life. Free yourself from the burdens of what the society considers as “normal”. Feel good about yourself because there is nothing wrong with being different. Replace all the negative thoughts, and emotions with love and appreciation using the Law of Attraction because the more you use it, the more you’ll understand how it will make wonders in your reality. Most people, when they learn of the Law of Attraction, are willing to at least give it a try. Many folks worry that it is going to be a complicated process, but nothing could be further from the truth – the Law of Attraction is actually very simple to use. The basics of the Law lie in three easy steps which are the foundation for the whole theory of the Law of Attraction. Whether we realize it or not, the Law is always working, just as the law of gravity causes things we drop to fall to the floor. Mastering these three steps will help you to harness the power of the Law of Attraction and use it to change your life.

Step one: know what you desire and ask for it (state your intention)
Knowing what you want isn’t as easy as it sounds. Aside from the basic physical needs, your mind is filled with wants, desires and fears. You need to know exactly what you want- for instance, if you want more money, how much do you want exactly? Do you want a lump sum or would you rather earn a certain amount each year? If you want to lose weight, do you want to lose 20 lbs or 50 lbs? If you want a new car, what make and model do you want? What color must it be? Write down exactly what you want in as much detail as you can, preferably as though you already have it – this is known as stating your intention.

Step two: believe that what you desire is already yours
Visualizing yourself having already achieved your desire is an important step; it’s the “positive thinking” step. Focusing on having it and getting into the feeling place of having it will create positive energy. The more clearly you can visualize yourself having it, and the better you feel about it, the more powerful your thought energies will be. The attainment of your desires is a direct result of this positive thought energy.

Step three: receive
This step is the one where so many people lose it. It’s the completion of your desire. Allow yourself to acknowledge your right to have your wishes fulfilled. For many, accepting this is the hardest part. If you consciously or unconsciously feel you don’t deserve what you’re asking for, you won’t get it. If you don’t believe you’re worthy of having your desires come true, they never will. If you start to doubt that the Law of Attraction works, you will push your desires away. Keep trusting that the universe will deliver, and that your desires are on their way to you. Try to keep your outlook positive at all times.

These steps may appear fairly simple, but they form a powerful process that can completely change your whole life. If you are struggling with any of the steps, persevere and practice- it will become easier over time.

The Law of Attraction doesn’t bring about your wishes in direct ways. Because of this, we don’t always recognize the way things are falling into place. Let me show you some of the ways it works, and remind you of a few principles you must follow.

The New Power of Positive

Norman Vincent Peale wrote The Power of Positive Thinking in 1956. Many of the principles of New Thought are incorporated in his widely read book, with Christian or biblical principles generously incorporated.
“Many of my patients have nothing wrong with them except their thoughts,” he quotes from a physician. Peale’s prescription was to empty your mind at least twice a day.

This is exactly the prescription given by the Silva method for reclaiming health and moving on to an abundant life. Charles Haanel and every coach of the Law of Attraction recommends regular if not daily meditation.

There are two important parts to meditation and a bonus:
First, it clears your mind of negativity and often connects you to a sense of peace. Some think of this as connecting to the One/Source/Creator, but it is also a connecting with the NOW, present time, and a disconnect from your Ego which lives almost totally in the past and future. Second, it allows you an opportunity to connect with your own higher self. Your higher self, higher mind or spiritual self knows your heart’s desire and can see your future pathway depending on the individual choices you make. Connecting with your higher mind connects you with this information which often comes as intuition or in-sight. The bonus is that you let go of stress. Doing so moves resources to your cognitive mind from your lizard mind (which is in charge of flight or fight) and from your muscles and bones to your digestive, reproductive and sexual systems. These systems are neglected during stress reactions which is how many people live their lives. This is one reason for depression and for erectile dysfunction and other sexual problems suffered by so many. So, just letting go of negativity already creates great healing and we haven’t even talked about being more positive yet!

Being Positive and Starting to See the Miracles

Mike Dooley said in his last training, that he didn’t even notice when his dream came true. It happened in many small pieces that just somehow fit together neatly. And, this is usually how the Law of Attraction works.

You have your dream, and then you start to get intuitive nudges that seem to be little activities, and sometimes they seem to be unrelated to your dream. But, at the end, when you look back, you can see how they were all a part of your co-creation.

So, let’s step back a bit. Clearing your mind as we talked about above can create major changes in your attitude, the way that you think, and in your ability to “roll with the punches.” These are all aspects of increasing your vibratory rate and raising your beliefs to allow for your new success.

For example, I started doing a long commute to work in 2004. I had bought a home 70 miles from where I worked. (Rush hour on the Long Island Expressway is probably like rush hour near LA. No one is able to rush anywhere.) In 2004, I sold the apartment that was 7 miles from work. In part this was my cats’ decision. They hated going back to the city on Sunday night or Monday morning. They cried almost the whole way. One of them vomited and urinated in her box during almost every trip west, and never made a peep when we were headed east to the country home. Hmmm. They were making their desires very clear.

It then took me 3 years to calm down and to change my driving to a more peaceful style. At first, I thought that I had to make everything happen, and then I realized that The Slow Guy Always Wins on the One Lane Highway and wrote that book about Ho’oponopono. This was when I started to meditate and learned how to let go of my desire to control my life. As soon as I did that, the frustrating drivers disappeared and the road in front of me cleared.

Being positive does not mean that you ignore reality and aggressively believe in yourself. Being positive means ignoring any apparent negativity and letting go of any attachment to winning. Being positive is more of a decision to be the best human being you can be and trusting that the Universe/Source/Divinity/God is doing its part.

It has taken me another few years to change vibrational frequency but I was attached to quite a bit of stuff that I had to let go. I have discovered that when you are being positive, you expect people to be generous and funny and they meet your expectations. When you are being positive, the mortgage company calls to lower your mortgage. (Truth.) The credit card companies call with deals. (Truth.) The old car that is driving 2,000 miles a week is absolutely dependable when you are positive.

When you are being positive, job interviews become fun. You enjoy being with the interviewer and you trust that your answers will be inspired. I have even had some unexpected remote viewing at interviews and known what the interviewer was going to say before she asked her question. And you realize that you are answering almost every question at a conference and spontaneously asking questions yourself without being a bother to the speaker. When you are being positive, you forget to be shy or hesitant or careful. You are able to live in the moment and to enjoy life.

When you are being positive, you never lose anything for more than a few hours. You are never sick. Shortly after manifesting, something happens that lets you know you are on the way.

For example, my partner and I started moving in the direction to reverse the aging that accelerated in our bodies from this long commute. We were then offered a diet program for very little money that actually saves money at the grocery store. We started that, and I got back on my bicycle, and then we were offered another piece of gym equipment for the home with an exercise program that is working and doable for us even with our schedule. This all came together in a matter of 10 days. We have lost some weight, but we were already feeling more fit in the first two days.

Yesterday, I went to a professional conference and in the packet a future training on another topic was being offered. It clearly stated that while it was free to any provider for this agency who had cases, it was quite expensive for any provider or person outside the agency who did not have any cases with them. Now, I do per diem work for this agency, but am a new hire they have not yet given me any cases. I didn’t want to pay the money for the course, so I went to talk with the person in charge and the ED during the lunch break.

I didn’t over think what I was going to say. I had my desire clearly in my mind. They would allow me to take the course for free. There was no doubt in my mind and I was so happy to be able to take this course. When I went to talk with them, they simply signed me up. I even explained that I didn’t have any cases yet, and they shook their heads as if they had never made that requirement. They said it was not necessary and I was already signed up.

Do you see how easy that was? I promise you that when you are truly in a positive frame of mind, enjoying people and loving life that everything will begin to fall into place for you.

I used to be a steel worker and was injured on the job. I lost my home and woman. I lived in a tent for some months on the beach at Hammonassett State Park in Madison Connecticut. While I was there I was struggling to finish my paralegal schooling. I lost my home right before the last few weeks of school.

One night in my tent, I looked up at the stars and decided this would be as low as I go. Little did I realize that the law of attraction was with me. I had unequivocally made the choice to succeed. Things started to change. This is the first lesson. Make up your mind for change. You must believe within your inner being things will change. However slowly they will change for you.

Patience is the second lesson. You cannot expect things to happen immediately. This is a known fact. Do people experience immediate results with manifestation. Yes, but that is not the normal time frame. The more patient you become the better you can work the law of attraction in your favor. Getting upset and frustrated will only hurt you energy not help it. I understand this is easier said than done BUT that one key separates the top five percent from the rest. Never Give Up, no matter what and It Will Happen For You! Sometimes you are tested in your belief by bad circumstances. Brush them off and soldier on.

The last mistake and the hardest in my opinion to over come is the attitude of gratitude. I used to be very negative and hateful. That got me in a tent and homeless. Don’t make the same mistakes as I did. Be grateful for what you have. if you are reading this article, you have power and shelter if nothing else. There are many out there with less than what you have. Everyone has to start somewhere so be grateful every single day for what you have. Once you can master that the law of attraction will follow naturally. Look for the signs the universe sends you. They are all around you. License plates, words on bill boards, anything that grabs your attention. Ponder the meaning to you, when possible. These things always tell you when you are on track.

I like it when I think of my favorite state, and then ten minutes later I see the license plate from there. That is, in my opinion, the universe telling me I will be back there soon! I love the law of attraction and I hope you have enjoyed my story!
