postheadericon The Law of Attraction – The Secret Meditation

Steve Lobe asked:

You may be aware of the Law of Attraction and had it work for you. You know it can work! Yet what do you need to get to the next level? Can you take actions to enhance your ability to attain your outcomes? In fact, there is a way. Use this secret meditation and you’ll be able to manifest more quickly and easily than you ever could before.

As to meditation, it is quite often misunderstood. Yet, the way the mind works in this day an age is not all that difficult to understand. Here is a little exercise to help you understand how it works.

Take a moment to try this little experiment. You are going to stop for a few moments and listen very carefully. As you do, you will hear a very faint, far away sounds. You will be surprised a the result. Stop reading right now, put down this article, and listen extremely carefully just for a few moments.

Were you able to hear a sound? Whether you were able to or not is not important – this was actually a little trick. The state of paying attention that you entered into while listening is exactly what it is like to meditate. You stopped “listening” to the voices in your head, and were paying attention to what is happening in the moment.

Your mind is your biggest obstacle. It jumps around from past to present, to the future. Your thoughts leap from wishes to hopes and regrets and worries. Yet meditation, and actually all of reality, is exists only in the present. It is this moment. All the rest of time is just an illusion, and as your mind takes over and gets lost in thoughts, the beauty of the present moment is lost. It’s impossible to pin down reality it is not a static, predictable or stable thing. Your mind may believe it is, but the reality all around us is constantly changing, through eternity.

When mediating, you learn to focus on the present moment. You can begin to get to know yourself on a deeper level, and see reality for what it really is, a wonderful, awesome gift! Even more importantly, when we enter a meditative state of mind, our ability to manifest is intensely greater.

This is a secret meditation you can do. You don’t have to do this perfectly or become a Zen monk to master this meditation. Just try it for a few minutes out of each day and eventually you will find it simple to do. To begin, find a quiet place to sit undisturbed. Breathe and relax. Pay attention to the sounds you hear. Note the overlap of the sounds. You may hear both cars and birds outside, for example, and notice these sounds as the combine in texture. Be aware of how the sounds mix around you. Focusing on the sounds will help you relax and say in the moment.

When you are relaxed and your mind has calmed down a bit, you can begin to picture what you really want, and picture yourself already having it, right now. In a word, you can daydream! Create a daydream where you have what you want, and feel all the joy, happiness, excitement, and other good feelings that come with having it. Stay with this feeling as long as possible, then stop and relax another moment, watch your breath for a few more moments, and finally you can resume your day.

Meditation like this sound very easy, and it is, but also very powerful. A meditative state can be far more productive than the busy mind we usually use to try to visualize our manifestations. As you see the speed of your visualizations begin to manifest, you will learn how powerful meditation can be!

Remember to continue practicing. The more you try it, the easier it becomes to move into a meditative state. The benefits will come to your life, love and dreams, and are worth any initial difficulty. Best of luck!

postheadericon Parenting With the Law of Attraction

Jeanine Byers Hoag asked:

The Law of Attraction is a spiritual system that seems to have been set into place as the universe was created. At its most basic, it tells us that like attracts like. It explains our experiences. And tells us that we are the ones who create the lives we have. As I understand it, it works this way: we will get more of whatever we think about and to the degree that we are able to focus long enough and frequently enough on what we want, we will get it. But our frequency or vibration matters, too. Because we draw to ourselves whatever we are a match for, vibrationally.

The problem occurs because of the part of who we are that is unconscious! We have no idea about the thoughts, beliefs and low-frequency energy that lives just under the radar of our awareness. So when we bemoan the fact that we aren’t getting what we want, it doesn’t mean that the LoA doesn’t work, it means that we are unaware of what we are thinking/feeling/doing to attract our current experiences.

The Solution

We still should make goals and set intentions, but we also need to have a plan for managing what might be hiding beneath the surface. The best way to handle potential undercover negativity is to throw healing at it. Work on healing your unresolved issues and raising your frequency and you are more likely to attract good things.

Parenting

So how can we apply that to our parenting?

“When you focus on something you are adding power to it and because you are vibrating at that same frequency that energy is going to be drawn to you. So if we are focusing on our kids not being respectful, or being untidy, or being bullied, or having allergies, we are contributing to increasing that energy.” -Annie DeSantis, LoA Parent Coach

That means that in addition to healing what we can and raising our frequency, we can have a positive impact on our experiences with our children by deciding to expect them to be good ones. And not only do we then model that for them, we can teach them that process and empower them to create what they want!

Making that decision early in their lives might mean an entirely different parenting experience than you would have had otherwise. And their experiences as they grow up will be richer and fuller and so much more empowering.
